many people in the Doberman world that believe they know everything about
genetics, pedigrees or anything else Doberman, and although many of those people
may not agree with our choices, we have met the dogs personally, we have had
offspring from them for training and we stand by our choices for our Favorite

Fedor is one of my favorites of all time because of the character he
put into his offspring. I know this firsthand having had several
offspring from him, using him as a sire, and having met him in person
and spent time with him. Here are links to offspring I personally

My favorite Fedor Son, also a favorite Sire
In short Fedor has had an impact on my as a person, on my breeding
program, and on the Doberman as a whole worldwide. Fedor truly was as
impressive in real life as he is in all the legends that surround him.
He brought real working character into his sons and daughters that I
trained, he passed his unmistakable phenotype onto his offspring, and he
is a sire I will always miss as much as his Father Baron Nike who I
consider the best Red Doberman of all time. Baron Nike passed the torch
to Fedor, and Fedor passed it again to Ramon, and I think it is very
hard to find a good red Dog without these dogs in the pedigree.
Naturally this list does not even begin to touch the worldwide list
of great dogs sired by Fedor, this is only a list of dogs I have had
personal contact with and training time with. Dogs I can personally
vouch for.

I have only been blessed to train one Nike Son, and I missed the
chance to meet him in person and I will kick myself for that every day
of my life. No one in the world would ever argue the point that Baron
Nike has been perhaps the best Red Male Doberman of all time. He
influenced the breed in so many positive ways, he was a great dog in
every aspect. He passed on good health, great character and working
ability as well as structure that can't be beat. Nike was a living
legend while he was here, he lives on in legend and in great progeny and
of course in our hearts and minds. He changed the Doberman world, and
developed a champion out of his owner as well. I have loved hearing
personal accounts of Baron Nike and especially the fondness people had
for him as well as his big fan club. I of course am a fan. The only
Son I ever worked of his was Diabora Magnum Frank. He had crushing grips
and incredible confidence, he was built like a brick house and I never
got a picture of him that I liked.

Anyone who has met me at all knows my passion for this dog. It
started when he was just a puppy and Slobodan sent me the first picture.
I knew then that this could be my new favorite male of all time. He has
it all, character, working ability and drive, structure and a diverse
pedigree that is unrelated to most major pedigrees making him one of the
first noteworthy outcrosses in my generation. His offspring have been
everything I have ever expected them to be, I have owned and trained
many Obi offspring and seen them worldwide as well. We have used him as
sire of some of our best litters ever. I am a believer in Obi, and time
will show how much of an impact he will have since he is already a
living a legend. My favorite and most noteworthy offspring of Obi so
far:

Ramon has been on my radar since he was born. Of course I love the
Fedor line, and I was pretty sure that Ramon was going to be my favorite
Fedor son. He started his show career with huge success and we used him
in a couple of our litters. He then went to Finland and worked on his
IPO titles and now is back on the show circuit and doing very well
again. I think now with the loss of his sire Fedor more and more people
are going to discover Ramon, he has great working ability, solid
powerful structure and a very clear head. He is a typical Dobie in that
he loves everyone except the bite decoy, and that guy he loves to hate.
an Eager and friendly male that has already produced some very nice
litters in our kennel and our only regret is that we don't own Ramon
ourselves. You will see many of his offspring makinng a splash
worldwide, and we are happy with what he has produced for us here. |
Uragan Best of island |
Uragan really has been the backbone of our breeding program, and he
contributes a lot to the breed as a whole. he has great conformation,
steady nerve and fantastic work ethic. He is playful, energetic and fun
and has always been a joy in the sport of Schutzhund. He helped me grow
as a trainer and a person, and his offspring are a credit to him. They
are also eager and willing working dogs, gorgeous pet dogs and beloved
by all those who have been owned by them. Uragan and Zenny being 3/4
brothers and sharing my favorite lines have consistently produced
healthy offspring with great structure and character. |
Glen Flashived |
"Zenny" is not on my list of favorite sires for any small reason,
yet he never won a world championship or a famous sporting event. We
trained together for many years and have had some wonderful Search and
REscue Experiences, great Schutzhund sport memories, and of course great
family memories. Zenny is on the list of greats for what he does for me
and my family personally, and how he has impacted my breeding program as
a whole. He puts exceptional character into all of his offspring, we
have never had anyone unhappy with one of his pups. He is a son of Eko
Royal Bell who I hold inn high regard despite his short breeding career
due to injury. Zenny is an example of what Dobermans should be, good
health, outstanding character and good working ability. Any of you
reading this with Zenny offspring could write pages of your own stories
about why you love this lineage and his offspring, but regardless of his
lack of worldwide fame, he will always hold a spot on this wall and he
will continue to always have a huge space in the hearts of those who
know and love him. |
