Here are just a few examples of
some friends of ours who love their pups.
Pam and I took Zeus to the Vet today. He gave him a though checkup, his first
shot and had a nice conversation about our new pup. He commended me on finding
such a great breeder, as Zeus appears to be very healthy and as he said " a very
good looking pup." He has serviced the Doberman community in Colorado Springs
for at least the last 15 years. He was impressed with his size, coat, clear
eyes, personality, and overall health. While we were waiting, he saw another
family that just purchased a puppy from a breeder in Kansas. He stated that they
should have called you to contact your breeder because their pup was no where
near as nice or good looking as Zeus. He asked if all your pups were like Zeus
and how we were able to locate our breeder. My response was that indeed all the
pups, and the adults were well cared for, clean and very healthy looking. It
was difficult choosing a pup but that your rating system helped me in our
decision, although I was tossed between Zeus and the pup that looked most like
Zenny. I also told him how the pups and adults were raised around your family
and that was important to us as well. I told him that I spent many hours
researching on the internet regarding selection of a breeder and one criteria
was the application process, the pictures, the blog messages, and the way you
presented yourself to me both in emails and the phone call. We walked out of
the Vet's office feeling so good about our new found family and about our choice
in Zeus. Thank you for your honesty and for your friendship which I hope lasts
a lifetime.
Zeus will have his ears done on 8/22/07. That is three days shy of 12 weeks. I
showed the Vet, Dr. Tutthill, the impressive genetics and Zenny and
Paola's pictures. I know if will do a good job on Zeus's ears.
While I was surfing the net, I went to Royal Canine and as a breeder you are
entitled to puppy packs for your litters. Just thought you might want to know.
Also our Vet was pleased that we are also using Royal Canine.

Dear Steve;
I can't begin to thank you enough for this sweet boy.
He is just adorable and is showing just the kind of personality to make a great
service dog.
Berry Garcia is not yet happy having a puppy in his
house. Twice he has growled at the puppy (who will have a name before the end of
the day) and I had a yelping puppy in my hands. But that did not deter him from
trying again. That little demonstration of courage was one of the things I was
hoping to see.
He was not happy to be in his crate at bed time and
complained for about 10 minutes before settling down. He then slept soundly
until I woke him when I got up. No "accidents" through the night and when I took
him out he immediately knew the purpose that grass was invented.
I was told by Hana how emotional you were when handing
this puppy over to her. Considering how many breeders treat their puppies like
commodities I am very impressed with your degree of involvement with your
puppies. I hope that we will stay in touch so you can see what this puppy
becomes. Red Zeppelin, Black Sabbath's predecessor, was on TV when I was shown
testifying before Congress and then he was seen in the MLB video of the World
Series as the first dog to ever attend the World Series. Both Black Sabbath and
Berry Garcia were on a Showtime show, Penn & Teller, during the past two weeks.
So in addition to us staying in touch you might see this puppy on TV one day.
Thank you for your extra efforts that made getting him
here possible. The flight was totally trouble free. It goes to show the
importance of getting to the right person. The woman with customer care you and
I spoke with has been scheduled for re-training next week so that she can better
understand the difference between service dogs and service dogs in training from
pets.
Sincerely yours,
Fred
Hi Kasey,
My name is Ray, and I understand
you are interested in buying a Dobie pup from Steve Parsons. I can tell you
that Steve is one of the most honorable men I have had the pleasure to meet. His
website is great, and he has a wealth of knowledge that he is more than willing
to share, wheather you buy one of his pups or not. I am so glad to have met
him,and we have developed a friendship beyond the bussiness that we have done.
We e-mailed back and forth a dozen times before I decided to go with one of his
pups. That is a decision I will never regret. I am the proud owner of a Male,
Red/rust, Doberman pup, named KIWAGO, and I couldn't be happier with him. He is
just beautiful. Kiwa is my 4th doberman, over the past 14yrs, and the other 3
although we truly loved them, were what I will call backyard breeds. They're
parents were all AKC registered, but what is in a registration is not
necessarily in the breeding. My 1st Dobie, Maverick, lived 71/2yrs and died from
a passed on disc problem from his parents. Something I could not have known
about. My next 2 were brothers from the same litter, and again died at 71/2 &
9yrs from kidney problems passed on from parents of an inferior breed
themselves. Now don't get me wrong, I loved all of my boys but I was very tired
of the heartbrake when they passed so young. Then I met Steve! He taught me so
much about Purebreed Dobermans, and how important it is to start with a good
strong pedigee, and champion leval parents. All of his breeders come from this
kind of stock. Both of KIWA's parents are 5th generation champions. They are
truly superior dogs to anything I have seen or had the opertunity to purchase a
pup from. The price for this great pup was more than I ever expected to pay, but
I know now that Kiwa was worth every penny of it. Don't let the price scare you,
as my good friend has taught me, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, and I would do it
again in a minute. Kiwa is mellow, and loves to be held and talked to. He and I
are starting an obedience class this week with him just 15wks old. He is so
intelligent, the trainer did an evaluation of him and said he was ready to go
right now. I am very happy. I have had absolutly no problems with him at all. He
is a pleasure.
So in rapping up, I feel you
can't go wrong with Steve,he is a fine man who will stand behind his animals
completely. He is in it for the long run and will be there for you, for the life
of your dog. He is breeding from very superior stock , and all of his pups are
his babes. I believe he would keep them all, if he could. Imagine that, a herd
of Dobies running accross the feilds of Utah. Seems pretty nice to me. I am
enclosing some pics of my KIWA, to show you how proud I am of him.
Good luck, and if I can help you
in any way, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
